Supervision, teaching and training
I offer clinical supervision for trainee and qualified therapists. My career includes over twenty years of education delivery, spanning teaching medical students, training clinicians, leading communication skills workshops, tutoring counselling programmes, coaching individuals and teams, and delivering national and local wellbeing initiatives.
- Teaching medical students gynaecology, communication skills and cancer care competencies
- Creating the Oncology course from Plymouth University into Cornwall
- Lecturing at universities and acting as external examiner in both health and psychology
- Leading counselling and mental health modules (Level 3) at Ruskin College
- Delivering Mental Health First Aid training, trauma-informed practice, resilience, stress, and health and wellbeing programmes for diverse professional groups
- Facilitating supervision groups, reflective practice groups, Schwartz Rounds and debriefs following critical incidents
- Coaching senior clinicians, new consultants and multidisciplinary teams in leadership and wellbeing
